May 12, Nepal. The 29th successful ascent of Everest has been accomplished by 54-year-old Kamirita Sherpa, who holds the global record for the most successful ascents of Everest.

Beginning in 1992, Sherpas from Solukhumbu began ascending the mountain. He has already ascended the eight thousand-meter-high peaks of K2, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Manaslu with success.

According to Seven Summit Pvt Ltd, he arrived at the Everest peak on Sunday morning at 7:25 a.m.
