Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Hello, and welcome to Nepal! Our pleasant staff will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your booked accommodation. Take some time to rest and refresh. 

In the afternoon, walk out to discover Thamel’s lively streets. This dynamic region is filled with various restaurants, bars, and cafés where you can indulge in excellent local cuisine while experiencing Kathmandu’s colorful atmosphere.

Day 02: Trek Preparation / Explore Kathmandu

Overnight: Hotel

On the second day, you can take a break and prepare for any flight delays or cancellations. Utilize this time to pack and organize your trekking gear, ensuring you have everything you need for the trip. 

If you love exploring cultural sites, then you can pay a visit to UNESCO world heritage sites. This way, you get to discover ancient architecture and monuments marked in Nepal’s history.

Later in the day, you’ll attend a trek briefing to learn about the next trip. Take advantage of this free day to rest, prepare for, and appreciate the thrilling adventures that await you.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and Trek to Phakding

  • Trek Distance: 6.2 Km
  • Duration of Trek: 3-4 hrs
  • Max Altitude: Lukla (2,850 m/9,350 ft) 
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Prepare for an exciting trip on the second day of your Everest Base Camp Trek! Fly from Kathmandu to Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla, where your trip will begin. 

Soon after, the trek begins through the lovely Chaurikharka village. As you make your way down to Dudhkoshi Ghat, take in the scenery. Continue on your trek till you reach Phakding. 

Allow your body to adjust to the altitude by spending some time acclimating in Phakding. Rest well and get ready for the next few days of the hike.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

  • Trek Distance: 7.4 km
  • Duration of Trek: 5-6 hrs
  • Max Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft)
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Overnight: Teahouse

The path that leads from Phakding to Namche Bazaar passes through beautiful farmlands, providing glimpses of Himalayan country life. Immerse yourself in the beauty of lush woods, pleasing communities, and huge yak pastures as you explore the mountain terrain. 

You enter the Sagarmatha National Park as you walk through the stunning sceneries home to various flora and fauna. Glance at the stunning view of Mt. Thamserku in the background. 

You arrive at Namche Bazaar after a rewarding hike, busy with lively markets, cozy tea houses, and friendly Sherpa hospitality. This bustling town serves as the beginning point for Everest region treks and expeditions.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day in Namche

  • Max Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft)
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Overnight: Teahouse

Today is your first day of rest in Namche Bazaar, and it is dedicated to acclimatization and ensuring a safe hike. Allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude and reduce your risk of altitude sickness by taking advantage of this opportunity. Spend the day exploring the bustling town and its lovely marketplaces.

A short hike to the Hotel Everest View will reward you with amazing views. The spectacular peaks of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, Nuptse, Kangtega, and Taboche can be seen from there. Capture breathtaking images within this Himalayan panorama while taking in the calmness of the surroundings.

Then, return to the town. Rest, refresh, and enjoy the sight of these beautiful giants that beautify the Everest region on this acclimatization day. 

Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tengboche 

  • Trek Distance: 9.2 km
  • Duration of Trek: 5-6 hrs
  • Max Altitude: Tengboche (3860 m/12660 ft)
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Overnight: Teahouse

As you leave Namche Bazaar for Tengboche, you will be on the beautiful part of Everest Base Camp Trek. The path takes you past pretty rhododendron forests, attractive Sherpa settlements, peaceful Buddhist shrines with colorful prayer flags.

Enjoy a gentle stroll along the Dudh Koshi River while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Take a break at Phungi Thenga to refresh and refuel. Prepare for a tough rise as the path takes you across the Imja Khola.

Finally, you will arrive in Tengboche, a lovely community famous for its magnificent monastery and stunning mountain vistas. You can learn about Tengboche’s rich cultural legacy while taking in the scenery.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

  • Trek Distance: 12 km
  • Duration of Trek: 5-6 hrs
  • Max Altitude: Dingboche (4410 m/14464 ft)
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Overnight: Teahouse

Set off on a challenging walk today from Tengboche to Dingboche under the magnificent Himalayan vistas. The trail passes past picturesque settlements such as Pangboche, Somare, and Orsho, where you can discover about Sherpa culture.

Beautiful chortens and mani walls decorated with prayer flags will greet you along the way, adding a spiritual touch to your walk. As you rise, expect to be astounded by the majestic panorama of Ama Dablam.

You will eventually arrive in Dingboche, a lovely village encircled by towering peaks. Enjoy the beautiful beauty and serenity of this Himalayan sanctuary.

Day 08: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Spend an additional day in Dingboche to adapt to the rising altitude and ensure a safe trek. It will help you to take advantage of this opportunity to avoid altitude sickness and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

You can hike to the base of Nangkar Tshang Peak as a part of acclimatization.  You’ll be rewarded with amazing views of Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Cho Oyu, and Makalu from here. Allow the majesty of these peaks to take your breath away.

After taking in the Himalayan views, hike back to Dingboche, savoring the region’s serenity and tranquillity. Use this day to rest and prepare for the exciting adventures that await you on your journey.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

  • Duration of Trek: 5-6 hours
  • Max Elevation: Lobuche (4910 m/16105 ft)
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner 
  • Overnight: Teahouse

On this day, the journey from Dingboche to Lobuche is a gradual ascent with breathtaking Himalayan scenery. As the trek advances, you’ll trek through the picturesque Pheriche Valley via alpine meadows and yak pasture fields.

Moving further, you’ll have a beautiful trek by the Khumbu Glacier, up-close to its icy beauty. Pay your respects at the monument statue dedicated to brave climbers as you approach Thukla Hills. Consider their incredible accomplishments as well as the hurdles they faced.

Continue until you reach Lobuche, an enchanting village among high peaks. 

Day 10: Trek to EBC and return to Gorak Shep

Day 11: Morning Ascent to Kala Patthar, Return Trek to Pheriche

  • Duration of Trek: 7 hours
  • Max Altitude: Kala Patthar (5545 m/11283 ft) 
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today, you’ll embark on a morning hike to Kala Patthar, a prominent vantage point with jaw-dropping sunrise views over the majestic mountains. Witness the magnificent panorama of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Pumori, and other peaks that paint the skyline.

After making wonderful memories, you’ll return to Gorak Shep for a full breakfast. Then you’ll continue your journey, going through the beautiful scenery of Lobuche and Thukla Pass. Soon enough, you will gradually drop towards Pheriche, today’s final destination.

Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar 

  • Trek Distance: 16 km
  • Duration of Trek: 7 hrs
  • Max Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3440 m/11286 ft) 
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Overnight: Teahouse

Prepare yourself for an incredible day of hiking as you descend from Pheriche to Namche. Today’s route consists of mostly downhill routes with a few ascents, making for a long day of walking.

You retrace your ways via iconic settlements like Tengboche, Phunki Tenga, and Kyangjuma Village. After a day of adventure and exploration, you will arrive at Namche Bazaar. 

Day 13: Trek from Namche to Lukla

  • Trek Distance: 16 Km
  • Duration of Trek: 6-7 hrs
  • Max Altitude: Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft) 
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Overnight: Teahouse

As you make your way from Namche to Lukla on the final day of the walk, you will bid farewell to the Everest region. As it reflects on the great events and memories, this last part of the journey is full of mixed emotions.

Day 14: Travel by Flight from Lukla and Arrive in Kathmandu

Take off from Lukla on a memorable flight above the beautiful Himalayan scenery. As you make your journey to Kathmandu, take in panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. 

As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, it marks the end of your adventurous journey in the Everest area.

Day 15: Final Departure

After a heartfelt breakfast, our pleasant representative will assist you with a transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport. As you return home, bid farewell to Nepal’s breathtaking scenery and friendly friendliness.
